LOU PERDOMO
It all started in the winter of '78, when Ed Peace marked my skin with one of his classic traditional tattoos. From that moment on I knew that tattoos really hurt!! I thought "Maybe someday I too could hurt people like this."
Eventually (ten
years later) I was able to get an apprenticeship with Professor Bob, who was tattooing at
Lou's Tattoos in Miami at the time. I spent the next five years tattooing at Lou's, along
with Mike Harpool, Troy Lane, Jay Pedro, and Luiz Segato. Working with them helped teach
me the most important rule of tattooing. Get paid first!
After parting ways at Lou's, I worked at various tattoo shops in South Florida,
before landing at Paradise Tattoo, where I've been tattooing for over 11 years. So, the
next time you're in Key West, come on in and let me hurt you, oh, I mean let me tattoo
you. Heh heh heh!
